Hans-Jörg Bergholz, a graduate engineer, is the director responsible for portfolio management and investments at FinanzNet Holding AG. He has more than 30 years of experience in the construction and property industry with a particular focus on project development, property management, restructuring and sustainable energy concepts. After studying engineering at the University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in Weimar, he initially worked in technical project management roles before taking on responsible positions in project and construction controlling at Commerz Real AG in the 1990s.

Since 2000, his focus has been on consulting, acquisition, conversion and revitalisation of commercial real estate and conversion sites – including in cooperation with public institutions such as the SIB/Free State of Saxony and project partners such as HTWK Leipzig, Helmholtz-Zentrum Leipzig and VNG AG. He has extensive expertise in the development of health, care and technology centres as well as in the integration of renewable energies (e.g. geothermal energy, photovoltaics) in real estate projects.

Thanks to his many years as a managing director and project developer – including at tnp Projektentwicklung GmbH and JB-ingconsult Leipzig – he has extensive expertise in strategic property development, subsidy management and investor support.
